Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif inaugurated a cricket stadium alongside Shahid Afridi in Khyber Agency.
The cricket stadium will be contracted in Khyber Agency. The cricket stadium has been named after Former Pakistani Captain Shahid Afridi.
The cricket ground has been set up by the Pakistan Army in recognition of Afridi’s commendable services for the country.
Afridi returned home from the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League to attend the ceremony.
General Raheel Sharif, while addressing a gathering of tribal elders, dubbed the Indian claim of surgical strike as ‘baseless’.
“India doesn’t know what surgical strike actually is. The day when Pakistan carried out the surgical strike, India will teach children in the syllabus,” he said.
