Karachi: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif chaired an important meeting today (Thursday) at Corps Headquarters Karachi regarding law and order situation of the city.
The meeting was called a day after 43 people were brutally killed in an incident of firing on a bus near Safoora Chowrangi located in Gulistan-e-Jauhar area of Karachi.
Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah, D.G ISI, Corps commander, D.G Rangers and other key provincial officers attended the meeting.
A decision to establish more security check-posts at the entrances of major cities was taken while measures to beef-up security will also be made.
