Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah has announced Rs10 million reward for the safe recovery of the son of the Sindh High Court’s chief justice, Ovais Ali Shah.
In a meeting with Director General Pakistan Rangers Sindh Major General Bilal Akbar in Karachi, Qaim Ali Shah said “The Rangers should step up ongoing targeted action in Karachi and make it more effective,”
In the meeting, they discussed recent terrorism incidents particularly the murder of renowned Sufi musician Amjad Sabri and recovery of Ovais Ali Shah
The DG Rangers briefed the chief minister about decisions taken at a recent meeting at Rangers headquarters.
IG Sindh Police A.D Khawaja has constituted a team headed by SSP Central Karachi Muqaddas Haider to investigate into the murder of Amjad Sabri.
