Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has approved a new tourist glass train project between Rawalpindi and Murree to enhance regional tourism.
The decision was made during a meeting chaired by the Chief Minister in Murree, focused on beautifying this well-visited hill station.
The government intends to collaborate with international consultants to implement the glass train project effectively. In addition, Chief Minister Sharif authorized various other initiatives to develop and beautify Murree.
The meeting also resolved demolishing high-rise hotel buildings obstructing the scenic views along Mall Road in Rawalpindi. Further approvals include the construction and expansion of the old Rawalpindi-Murree-Kashmir Road.
