The meeting also resolved demolishing high-rise hotel buildings obstructing the scenic views along Mall Road in Rawalpindi. Further approvals include the construction and expansion of the old Rawalpindi-Murree-Kashmir Road.

Additionally, plans are set to remove hotels near GPO Chowk and to restore all historical buildings in the area. Each year, hundreds of thousands of tourists from across the country visit Murree, drawn by its natural beauty and charm.
