Islamabad: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah on Wednesday announced compensation for victims of bus attack in Karachi.
While talking to journalists, the chief minister announced compensation of Rs 5 million to family members of each deceased and Rs.2 million to each injured person.
Pledging to bring the culprits to book, Qaim Ali Shah said that two senior police officials – a DSP and SHO Sachal police station – have been suspended following the deadly attack on Ismaili community bus that left 43 people dead and over 15 injured in Karachi’s Safoora area. He said investigation into the incident would soon be completed.
