Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif visited flood-hit area of Gujranwala and Mandi Bahaduin districts on Tuesday.
According to the press release issued by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), during the visit COAS was briefed about the ongoing rescue and relief efforts by the Army.
COAS appreciated efforts Army personnel of the field formations and Army Aviation.
He directed the local commanders to remain proactive, utilise all available resources for the rescue and relief, and pledged that army will leave no stone unturned to help their brethren affected by the flood.
