The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman,Imran Khan, has now come up with a five-point charter of demands, threatening the government that he would take to streets if the demands went not met.
Addressing a mammoth rally in Dera Murad Jamali, Balochistan, Imran called for reduction in prices of diesel and petrol by Rs 20 per liter and Rs 5 respectively.
The PTI chairman asked the government to reverse infrastructure taxes on gas prices.
He demanded of the government to reverse the newly imposed taxes on electricity and cut electricity rates by Rs 3 per unit.
Imran’s fourth demand was related to prevailing PIA crisis. He demanded of the government to appoint professionals in key institutions like PIA instead of favouring relatives of the ministers.
The PTI chairman also asked the government to release pay of the labourers who haven’t received their salaries for five months.
He also urged the federal government to bring back looted money from abroad. “Mian sb, declare your and your children’s assets, both in Pakistan and abroad,” he said.
Imran promised to deliver rights of Baloch people after coming into power.
