Mushahid Hussain, a senior PML-Q leader, speaking at joint session of the Parliament on Thursday, stressed upon the prime minister to change his ‘Mughal’ mindset to one that of Nelson Mandela’s to take the country forward.

“The ball is now in prime minister’s court,” he said, asking the government to change its style of governance.

“Be more inclusive…forget the past, move forward and move on,” he added.

He said that there was no threat to democracy but the government would have to perform and deliver.

PML-Q leader urged that resignations of PTI members should not be accepted, adding if negotiations could be held with the Taliban then why not with the protestors outside the parliament.
