Superstar Salman Khan, who became popular as Prem after his characters in Sooraj Barjatya’s films Maine Pyar Kiya and Hum Saath-Saath Hain, celebrated 20 years of his blockbuster hit film Hum Aapke Hain Kaun yesterday. The 1994 musical family drama was hugely successful and besides winning audience appreciation it also won many awards.
Salman and Sooraj are currently shooting Prem Ratan Dhan Payo and celebrated two decades of their hit blockbuster on the sets of their upcoming film. The film is currently being shot in Karjat, Maharashtra. The duo is working together after a gap of 15 years in Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. They last joined hands for multi-starrer Hum Saath-Saath Hain, which also did really well at the box office. According to a report, there was a reunion lunch on the sets of the film. A few members of the cast and crew of Hum Aapke Hain Kaun were present for it. Though it was difficult to get together the entire star cast of the film, many members of Sooraj’s family were present for the reunion.
Hum Aapke Hain Kaun is among those movies which catapulted Salman Khan to superstardom.
