Offset, legally named Kiari Kendrell Cephus, shares two children with Cardi B. The couple has experienced several separations over the years, in 2018, 2020, 2023, and now in 2024. Despite these challenges, sources claim the current decision to divorce does not stem from allegations of cheating.
Insiders told TMZ.com that the couple has “just disconnected from each other,” one noted that the split has been “a long time in coming.” Cardi B, aiming to finalize the separation, seeks primary custody of their children, Kulture and Wave. She has hired a lawyer to manage the divorce, reportedly proceeding on amicable terms.
Signs of discord have been evident for some time. In December 2023, Cardi B hinted at personal changes in a social media post, expressing her need to prioritize her well-being over maintaining relationships. “I’m tired of protecting people’s feelings… I GOTTA PUT MYSELF FIRST!” she declared online.
