As speculation swirls, emerging claims suggest that American singer Cardi B might have been unfaithful to her husband Offset with an NFL star, rumoured to be Stefon Diggs of the Houston Texans, after Cardi B acknowledged conversing with other men while pregnant with Offset’s child.
DJ Akademiks stirred the controversy, alleging that Cardi B cheated with a football player, who he hinted was someone from his fantasy team. “This n***a is a dog,” Akademiks remarked, adding, “I’m wondering how he has time to do his original job. I wanna tell y’all so bad.” He teased his audience, revealing the individual was not a rapper but an NFL player, leading him to comment humorously about Offset’s potential reaction: “If I’m Offset, bruh, I can’t even root for that team anymore.”
When pressed about these accusations, Cardi B responded cryptically with a clip of Whitney Houston’s interview with Diane Sawyer, where Houston questions, “But do you really know? Do you really know?”
Further fueling the rumours, another user on X.com (formerly Twitter) supported DJ Akademiks’ statements, adding that the alleged affair occurred during a rocky phase in Cardi B and Offset’s relationship.
Offset himself has made accusations on his Instagram Live, urging Cardi B to “tell the truth” about her infidelity during her pregnancy. This led to an exchange of private chats on Instagram Stories, including one where Offset appears to request a virtual intimate session and another string of messages that expose their heated exchanges and claims of Offset pleading for contact after being blocked.
The saga extends with allegations of Offset’s infidelity, reportedly with at least nine different women, complicating the narrative further.
Cardi B and Offset’s marital status has been tumultuous. They married in 2017 and have three children. Although Cardi B announced in December 2023 that they had parted ways, she revealed plans for a divorce in July 2024 and disclosed her pregnancy with their third child the following day. She gave birth on September 7, when new disputes cast more doubt on the state of their union.
