Aleksander Mitrovic quickly equalized for Serbia after Switzerland’s early advantage.
Ten minutes later, Serbia seized the lead when Shaqiri threw the ball away in midfield, and Dusan Tadic passed to Dusan Vlahovic, who shot across the goal.
Breel Embolo equalized a minute before halftime when Sow found Silvan Widmer in space on the right.
Shaqiri clipped in an exquisite pass after Embolo won it high up, and Remo Freuler guided in Ruben Vargas’ cushioned backheel 3 minutes into the second half.
