The Pakistan Day celebration at Burj Khalifa in Dubai brought together members of the Pakistani community, who gathered in Downtown Dubai to mark the occasion. Visitors captured photos and videos of the iconic tower illuminated in Pakistan’s national colours.
The atmosphere reflected pride and unity, as attendees exchanged greetings during the celebration. The Burj Khalifa has been illuminated in Pakistan’s green and white colours on major national occasions for nearly a decade.
This tradition continues to symbolise the strong connection between Pakistan and its diaspora in the UAE. Alongside the Dubai celebrations, official ceremonies took place in Abu Dhabi and at the Consulate in Dubai.
Pakistani Ambassador Shafqat Ali Khan hoisted the national flag in Abu Dhabi, marking Pakistan Day.
During his address, the ambassador offered prayers for Pakistanis who lost their lives in recent conflicts. He also paid tribute to their sacrifices.
He reiterated Pakistan’s principled stance on the Kashmir issue and expressed support for the Kashmiri people’s right to self-determination.
