British High Commission Officer Injures Islamabad Constable in Traffic Incident

In Islamabad, a female officer from a British High Commission ran a red light and drove her car over a police constable, causing serious injuries.

The incident occurred on Shahrah-e-Dastoor when the officer’s vehicle struck Constable Amir Kakar, completely damaging his motorcycle. Amir Kakar sustained critical injuries and has been taken to the hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment.

The police have initiated an investigation and procedural actions regarding the accident. Following the incident, the Inspector General of Islamabad has taken notice and ordered that the injured constable be provided with the best possible medical care.
