An explosion took place in between Faizabad and Rawal Dam road last night after former president Pervez Musharraf was shifted from army hospital to his farmhouse on Thursday overnight.
However, according to the police sources the blast did not cause any damage. The explosives were planted in a storm water drain next to the road. The blast was so powerful that it created a two-foot deep crater at the blast site.
The police sources said the bomb disposal squad was called in at the blast site—three kilometers from Musharraf’s residence in Chak Shehzad Farmhouse.
