Taylor Swift and Ryan Reynolds express concern as Blake Lively sues Justin Baldoni for sexual harassment.
Blake Lively has initiated a lawsuit against Justin Baldoni, her co-star and director in “It Ends with Us,” for alleged sexual harassment and efforts to damage her reputation. This dispute has unveiled serious behind-the-scenes conflicts within the film industry.
According to documents TMZ obtained, Lively accuses Baldoni of creating a hostile work environment during the film’s production. She has requested legal measures to prevent Baldoni from disseminating explicit images or videos, discussing his purported past pornography addiction, commenting on her weight, or referring to her late father. Additionally, she stipulated that no new explicit scenes beyond those in the approved script be introduced.
Justin Baldoni’s Lawyer calls Blake Lively’s lawsuit a ‘desperate attempt to fix her negative reputation’ and ‘categorically false’:

The situation escalated to the extent that an emergency meeting was convened, attended by Lively’s husband, Ryan Reynolds. The lawsuit reveals Lively disagreed with Baldoni over the film’s marketing strategy. While Lively preferred to emphasize her character’s resilience, Baldoni pushed for a focus on domestic violence, a central theme in Colleen Hoover’s novel on which the film is based. Lively contends that these creative differences significantly affected the film’s unsuccessful reception.

Blake Lively’s lawsuit further alleges that Baldoni’s team orchestrated a “social manipulation” campaign to undermine her public image. It includes texts purportedly from Baldoni’s publicist discussing tactics to “bury” Lively’s reputation.
Baldoni’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, has categorically denied these claims, describing them as “false, outrageous, and intentionally salacious.” Freedman claims Lively’s difficult behaviour on set and threats to withdraw hurt the film’s performance. Baldoni clarified that his questions about Lively’s weight stemmed from concerns over a back injury, not fat-shaming accusations.
Blake Lively’s lawsuit has garnered attention among Lively’s friends, including Taylor Swift and Ryan Reynolds, highlighting the pressures of the film industry.
