At the Variety’s Hitmakers event, Eilish commented on the public’s reaction to her disclosure of her sexual orientation. She expressed her surprise, believing that her sexuality was already apparent to her fans and the public. “I thought it was pretty obvious,” she remarked, questioning the necessity of a formal ‘coming out.’
Eilish explained that she had always embraced her orientation but had not openly discussed it, finding it exhilarating that people were now aware.
Billie Eilish shared her philosophy on existence and relationships, challenging the traditional concept of ‘coming out’ and advocating for the freedom to exist. She reflected on her past romantic relationships, including her time with rapper Brandon Adams, featured in her documentary “Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little Blurry.”
