Bilawal Bhutto Zardari say  he has received threats from the banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ).

He tweeted on Thursday that he had received threats and that he would hold the Punjab government responsible for any attacks especially if they fail to act against the banned outfit.

received threat letter frm LEJ.Will hold Punjab govt responsible 4 LEJ attacks if Sharif cont 2 give them protection & refuse2 take action.

— BilawalBhuttoZardari (@BBhuttoZardari) March 27, 2014

Bilawal has repeatedly accused the Punjab government of sheltering the LeJ.

Earlier on March 21, a Lahore High Court division bench granted bail to Malik Ishaq, leader of Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat, in two cases where is he accused of delivering provocative speeches. ASWJ was known as the SSP (Sipah Sahaba Pakistan) before it was banned for fermenting terror and sactarian hate. The Banned Terror outfit Lhaskar-Jhangvi is its offshoot.

Meanwhile the Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif  directed IG Punjab to look into the matter immediately.
