Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Thursday warned Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif that there’s a huge ‘storm’ coming on November 30.
Addressing the ‘Azadi March’ participants, Imran Khan lashed out at Jamaat Islami and asked Jamaat chief Sirajul Haq to clarify if his party stands with Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) or with people.
PTI chief said that those who say PTI’s sit-in is undemocratic don’t know what democracy is.
In a statement issued from Islamabad, Khan said that Jamaat chief’s statement is surprising and disappointing. He said Sirajul Haq’s effort to include PTI in the likes of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) is condemnable.
He asked Sirajul Haq to stop playing both sides and to clear his position in front of public and tell if he wants the ‘change’ in the country or the system of ‘status-quo’.
He said Sirajul Haq has forgotten ‘as usual’ the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) cases against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and former president Asif Ali Zardari.
PTI chief said that Sirajul Haq has to stand up against the corrupt circle if he wants implementation of the law.
