The Balochistan High Court (BHC) ordered that all first information reports (FIRs) filed against PTI leader Shahbaz Gill in Qila Abdullah be dismissed.
Justice Abdul Hameed Baloch, a single bench of the BHC, in response to a plea filed by Gill through his attorney requesting the dismissal of several cases registered against him in the province.
During the hearing, Justice Abdul Hameed Baloch questioned how many charges were filed against Gill in a single occurrence. “Registration of several cases stemming from a single occurrence is contrary to the court’s decision,” he remarked.
After analyzing the plea, the court ruled that all cases against the PTI leader in Balochistan be dismissed.
It is crucial to note that the Balochistan police filed a case against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shahbaz Gill in the Qila Abdullah region for using “offensive language” against state institutions.
On the accusation of Aziz Ullah, the first information report (FIR) was filed against Gill for sedition and “inciting violence” against state institutions.
