Former Pakistani cricketer Basit Ali claimed that South Africa could lose to India due to influence of Indian Premier League (IPL).
While talking to ARY News’ special transmission ‘Har Lamha Purjosh’ he said “which team players are mostly featured in IPL? They are Australians and South Africans,”
Explaining his statement he said that South Africa is a balanced team compare to India side. He also said that Proteas can emerge victorious in the high voltage match provided if IPL does not influence the encounter.
It should be noted that several members of South African cricket team including ODI captain AB de Villiers and pace spearhead Dale Steyn are currently performing for different franchises in IPL.
