A blast in the Bolan district of Balochistan targeted Balochistan Constabulary martyred at least nine security personnel, and injured ten.
According to reports, nine security personnel were martyred, and more than 10 were injured in an explosion near a truck pass of Balochistan Constabulary near Kanbari Bridge in Bolan. The explosion allegedly targeted a security forces vehicle on the Quetta-Sibi highway at the Kambri bridge.
The explosion may have been the result of a suicide attack, according to Superintendent of Police (SP) Bolan Mehmood Notizai.
As soon as the event was reported, local law enforcement and security officers rushed to the spot.
They were attacked as the Balochistan Constabulary personnel left their shift at the Sibi Mela. The explosion’s force forced the truck to overturn.
Corpses and injured personnel were brought to Sibi, where they got medical assistance. However, according to reports, some of the injured are in serious condition, which could increase the death toll.
