Due to their popularity on social media and on the platform OnlyFans, where they each have hundreds of thousands of followers, two Australian boxers have created a sensation inside the ring and outside of it. Following a successful run, Avril Mathie and Ebanie Bridges are preparing for a fight that will go viral online.
Avril (35) will compete against Ramla Ali on Saturday night at Madison sq. Garden, and if she wins as she hopes, she will move on to face Ebanie.
IBF bantamweight champion Ebanie “Blonde Bomber” Bridges will face Mathie, who has an 8-0-1 professional record and won the 2014 Miss Swimsuit USA International.
Avril came close to getting her to wish the year prior, but the champion had to face her required challenger. So now it’s up to her to demonstrate in the ring that she has the qualifications to face Bridges.
She admires Bridges and is eager to meet her.
“Ebanie is smart, in my opinion, and I applaud her for that. I’m very excited about it; it’s going to be a killer fight,” declared Mathie, who promised it would be amazing if the fight occurred.
She pushes herself to the limit and never backs up, but I can also punch and advance. Fireworks and an exciting fight, she continued.
She added that she is prepared for the opportunity, “But, it’s one I’m ready for, so as soon as his hands get better, we can start.”.
Bridges is ignoring the criticism on his end. Instead, she has drawn criticism for her presence on OnlyFans and Instagram, despite having a 9-1 record and improving steadily as a boxer.
“The same people who don’t believe in Floyd Mayweather also don’t believe in me today or aren’t fans. The more you ascend. As you rise in the ranks, your fan base and detractors multiply. I’ve always been true to myself, he said.
