The Pakistan Cricket Board on Wednesday announced the schedule for Australia’s T20I tour of Pakistan, featuring three matches later this month.
All three games will take place at the iconic Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. The matches are scheduled for January 29, January 31, and February 1. Australia’s T20I squad will arrive in Lahore on January 28.
According to the PCB, the toss for each match will take place at 5:30 pm local time. Play will begin at 6:00 pm.
The board said the series is of great importance to both sides ahead of the ICC Men’s T20I World Cup. Pakistan will compete in Group A, while Australia have been placed in Group B.

During that tour, Australia played Tests, ODIs, and a T20I in Pakistan. They also featured in three matches of the ICC Champions Trophy held in Pakistan. Their only previous T20I at Gaddafi Stadium came on April 5, 2022, which Australia won by three wickets.
PCB Chief Operating Officer Sumair Ahmed Syed said the board is eager to welcome Australia back to Lahore. He described the series as an exciting start to the year for local cricket fans and urged supporters to attend the matches in large numbers.
He added that Gaddafi Stadium has become a familiar venue for Australia, having hosted a Test, five ODIs, and a T20I involving the visitors since 2022.
