Australia beat Pakistan by 93 runs in the first one-day international at the Sharjah on Tuesday.
Captain George Bailey won the toss and elected to bat first and set 256 run target with the loss of 8 wickets in 50 overs. Smith’s 101 score took Aussies towards setting the target.
All of Pakistani batsmen got out a total of 162 score in 36.3 overs. Umar Akmal scored 46 while Sarfraz Ahmed on 34.
The 2nd and 3rd ODIs will be played in Dubai on Friday and in Abu Dhabi on Sunday respectively.
