A man was killed in police firing outside a district court Rawalpindi.
Police claimed that gunmen in a car opened fire on police personnel near central gate of the court and attempted to flee from the scene; however, police commandos of the Elite Force went after them and chased one of the attackers.
A gunman was killed when police returned fire, an official told the media. .
Security has been tightened in Rawalpindi and Islamabad following Wednesday’s deadly blast in federal capital which left 25 people dead.
