An Anti-terrorism Court (ATC) has issued non-bailable warrants for arrest of Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) chief Farooq Sattar, MQM founder Altaf Hussain.
The ATC while hearing the petition of attacks on media houses, violence and treason issued non-bailable warrants for MQM-P leader Qamar Mansoor and Shahid Pasha.
It is pertinent to note here police had already booked MQM leaders and office-bearers for attending a party’s gathering Karachi Press Club where Altaf Hussain reviled against Pakistan and the armed forces.
The charges included mapping out conspiracies against the state, maligning its institutions and inciting workers to violence.
