Army successfully achieving its goals in operation Zarb-e-Azb: DG ISPR

Director General of Inter Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Asim Saleem Bajwa on Wednesday stated that operation Zarb-e-Azb continues successfully in North Waziristan tribal regional.

Talking to media at Baka Khel Camp, the army spokesperson said that miscreants have hidden huge amount of explosives in North Waziristan tunnels, which is taking some time to be cleared.

He said that army wants return of the internally displaced person (IDPs) in a pleasant atmosphere.

Major General Asim Bajwa said that army will ensure that IDPs do not face any problem when they return their homes in the affected areas.

He further stated that action against terrorists in Khyber Agency is being taken on the reports of intelligence agencies.
