Arjun Kapoor clarified his relationship status at a Diwali event, confirming that he is currently single. This confirmation came during a festive gathering hosted by Raj Thackeray at Mumbai’s Shivaji Park on Monday amidst widespread speculation about his breakup with Malaika Arora.
Rumours about the couple’s separation had been circulating, particularly after Arjun posted a cryptic message on Malaika’s birthday. The message quoted Mufasa from “The Lion King,” stating, “Never forget who you are.”
Arjun and Malaika, who went public with their relationship in 2019, had been a familiar sight at various public outings. Their relationship began in 2018, following her divorce from Arbaaz Khan in 2017. The couple had previously refrained from commenting despite recent rumours of their split.
The speculation intensified when, despite their reported separation, Arjun supported Malaika during the funeral services after her father’s tragic suicide in September.
In terms of his professional life, Arjun Kapoor is set to appear as the villain in Rohit Shetty’s upcoming film Singham Again. The film, which also stars Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and others, integrates characters from previous franchises like Singham, Simmba, and Sooryavanshi.
