The University of Sheffield in the UK is now inviting applications for its MSc in Artificial Intelligence program, which begins in September 2025.

The program is designed to provide students with theoretical knowledge and practical skills for handling and analyzing large data sets, which is critical for developing advanced AI systems. The application deadline is Monday, May 12, 2025, at 1 p.m. UK time.

Course Overview

The MSc in Artificial Intelligence offers a comprehensive curriculum that includes foundational AI concepts and emphasizes practical data management applications. It is ideally suited for individuals with a strong numerical background, including graduates in mathematics, economics, engineering, physics, or chemistry and professionals currently working in these fields.

Students will develop skills to convert complex data into actionable insights, learning to analyze structured and unstructured data. The curriculum draws on computer science, mathematics, statistics, and artificial intelligence knowledge.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should have a 3-year or 4-year bachelor’s degree with at least 60% marks from a recognized university in a relevant subject. They must also meet the English language requirements, with a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 (no component less than 6) or equivalent.
