Apple recently introduced a real-time Live Activities feature in its Apple News app, offering up-to-the-minute US election results directly on iPhone home and lock screens. This feature allows users to skip traditional broadcast methods for a more direct and streamlined update experience, bringing election data to their devices.

If you're not feeling plugged in enough during the 2024 election, Apple News has a way to get up-to-the-second results on your Lock Screen and Apple Watch through Live Activities.#Apple #Election2024

When opening Apple News today, users are notified to “follow the election live” as results pour in on Tuesday night. For users outside the United States or those who don’t see the notification, there is an option to tap the “Follow the election live” banner on the app’s homepage.

You can get the Apple News app Live Activities for the US election on your iPhone or iPad, even if you live in a country where Apple News isn't available officially.
