Authorities started a one-day anti-polio vaccination driver in 25 union councils of Karachi today. A ban on pillion-riding has been announced till this evening as a precautionary measure.
The ban will remain effective from 8am to 6pm today in only the union councils declared ‘sensitive’.
Officials said health workers are being given security by police and Rangers in all the areas during today’s immunization drive.
