Pakistan boasts a rich musical heritage with icons like Noor Jehan and Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. Today’s young artists, including Annural Khalid, are carving their niche in the dynamic music industry.

Khalid has earned the distinction of being Pakistan’s first female RADAR Artist for 2024, recognized by Spotify. This recognition, part of Spotify’s global initiative to promote emerging talents, highlights Khalid’s journey in music.

The RADAR Pakistan program showcases rising stars, connecting them with a global audience. Khalid’s achievement coincides with the release of her debut album, a fusion of chill pop and R&B. She expressed excitement about the RADAR opportunity, seeing it as a way to connect her personal identity with her artistic persona.

Khalid values the insights gained from the RADAR program, which help her understand listener preferences. This recognition follows her previous recognition as Spotify’s EQUAL Pakistan Ambassador in July 2023. Beginning her career in 2020, Khalid has produced popular tracks like “Kehdena” and “Sohneya Ve.”
