State Minister for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali lashed out at opposition parties and said that, “anarchy spreaders are representing Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan”,

Speaking at a national flag hoisting ceremony at Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) Headquarters, Abid Sher Ali said that Pakistan is fighting a war for its survival whereas its foundations are being weakened by certain elements. He added that the Independence Day celebrations are being dedicated to Pakistan Army and the nation is standing shoulder to shoulder with its military.

Abid Sher Ali, while speaking against Chaudhry Pervez Elahi and Shujaat Hussain, said that they are taking support of political orphans.

“My leader was not allowed to bury his father. Should we forget the pain we went through?” Ali asked.

Talking about cricketer turned politician Imran Khan, he said that, “Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) respects the mandate which PTI received in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa”.

He further said that Imran Khan should fight a war against Taliban. He added that PTI Chairman has never spoken in favor of the military.
