Pornhub has disclosed each state’s top election night searches, revealing that Floridians were particularly interested in politically themed videos.
The adult website provided this exclusive data to The Post, offering insights into the fantasies of Americans around the time Donald Trump was declared the 47th president.
The data, collected from November 3 to November 6, analyzed each state’s top relative searches—that is, terms searched more frequently compared to other states.
Florida, which supported Trump with 56.1% of the vote, had “MAGA” as its top relative search term, indicating a unique blend of right-wing politics and adult entertainment interests.
Unlike Florida, no other state showed a clear political theme in its top searches. Californians preferred “thick and curvy” videos, while Georgians searched predominantly for “panties.” In Pennsylvania, a key battleground, the focus was on “tushy” videos.
It’s noteworthy that Pornhub is blocked in 14 states including Alabama and Texas, so these states are absent from the data.
Despite varying political views, Americans across different states showed similar behaviour in their consumption of adult content. Pornhub’s traffic increased by 7% nationally on election day. This spike in visits occurred primarily between 8 and 9 a.m. However, traffic dropped by 16% from 6 p.m. to midnight as people turned their attention to the election results.
