Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain on Thursday has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan must demonstrate a peaceful protest on Novemebr 30 and advised the Prime Minister (PM) to stay calm in this crisis.
‘It my earnest appeal to the protestors to remain calm and the government to exercise restraint during Sunday’s PTI rally in the constitutional quarters of federal capital”, Hussain said.
He expressed these views via telephone at the MQM centre Nine Zero in Karachi when Sindh Governor Ishratul Ibad and Bahria Town chairman Malik Riaz paid a visit there.
MQM member Haider Abbas Rizvi welcomed both the Sindh Governor Ishratul Ibad and Riaz upon their arrival.
He said that they are thankful to Riaz for his announcement regarding Altaf Hussain University Karachi and the fact that around 20 percent students would study free of cost in the university.
Rizvi also said that the Pakistani hockey team had annoyance over the fact that nobody comes for their help which Riaz has compensated with his generosity.
He thanked Malik Riaz for the announcement of universities in Karachi and Hyderabad.
MQM chief also said that people like Riaz must be in the government because they do work for the betterment of people.
