A suspected target killer arrested from the city’s Haidery area, confessed to committing more than fifty murders, which also included police officers.

Alleged target killer Rameez Sheikh alias Faizan, who is affiliated with a political party, made important revelations during investigation. Rameez owned up to killing more than fifty people, which included activists of banned outfits, political parties and policemen.

According to the investigation report, Rameez Sheikh committed the murder of two policemen in Karachi’s Haidery area. He committed the murders with the aid of an accomplice in 2013.

The investigation report further revealed Rameez had also committed the murder of an activist of a banned religious outfit. The name of the victim was Masood-ur-Rahman and he was killed by Rameez and his four armed accomplices in Karachi’s Orangi Town area in 2014.
