Former Nickelodeon actress, Alexa Nikolas, recognized for her role in the TV show “Zoey 101”, recently accused actor Jonah Hill of assaulting her at a party held at Justin Long’s house.
Nikolas made these accusations via tweets, adding to Hill’s controversy following accusations from his ex-girlfriend, Sarah Brady, who labelled him a “misogynist narcissist” on her Instagram stories.
According to Nikolas, she was 16 at the time of the incident, while Hill was 24. She claims that Hill offered her a cigarette from his car during the party. When they stepped outside, Nikolas alleged that Hill forcibly kissed her, after which she quickly retreated into the house.
Nikolas says her decision to publicly disclose this incident was inspired by Brady’s brave post detailing her emotional abuse while in a relationship with Hill.
Hill’s Denial and Nikolas’s Advocacy for Survivors
In response to these allegations, Jonah Hill’s attorneys firmly denied the occurrence of the incident, deeming it a “complete fabrication” in a statement to Page Six. Despite Hill’s denial, Nikolas stands by her accusations. In a follow-up interview, she elaborated that she was under the influence of alcohol during the party and that Hill and his friends were cognizant of her age.
Nikolas also highlighted that her friend had spoken to Hill and his friends over the phone before they arrived at the party, specifically to stress the need to conceal their ages due to possible media scrutiny.
Meanwhile, representatives for Justin Long responded to the allegations, stating that the actor was not privy to the alleged incident, which occurred almost two decades ago.
Nikolas has been an outspoken critic of the grooming culture in Hollywood. She has previously accused Nickelodeon of failing to protect underage actors and uses her social media platform to empower survivors.
