Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan’s sister, Aleema Bibi, shared a troubling update on social media.
In a Twitter (X) message, she detailed recent unsettling changes in Khan’s prison arrangements, including the sudden replacement of his security guards, the cancellation of family visits, and a court session.
She states that these developments have significantly heightened the family’s fears for his safety, given Khan’s history of surviving assassination attempts. The family remains deeply troubled by the current situation and the apparent threats to his life.
Aleem Khan Agha Muhammad Saleh, an ex-candidate for Governor of New York and founder of Diversity Plaza, expressed serious concerns via Twitter about the safety of imprisoned former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan.
According to Agha, credible sources suggest that there is an intensifying campaign to harm Khan, who is currently held in the challenging conditions of Adiala Jail. He drew parallels to the misinformation campaigns that preceded the execution of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, noting that such narratives are circulating on social media.
Agha emphasized the unprecedented danger to Khan’s life, noting that preparations are being made to manage potential public unrest and discussions about his succession are underway.
