The final publication date for the AJK electoral rolls has been set for April 30, 2026, according to a fresh schedule released by the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Election Commission. The announcement outlines the complete timeline for preparing, revising, and correcting voter lists across the region.
Authorities said the process aims to ensure accurate, up-to-date electoral rolls ahead of future elections. The enrolment process, which began on March 24, will continue until April 7. During this period, citizens can submit their data for inclusion in the draft electoral rolls.
The National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) will provide preliminary electoral data by April 10. Based on this data, the initial voter lists will be published on April 13 for public review.
From April 13 to April 17, citizens will be able to file inclusion claims, request corrections, or raise objections to incorrect entries. These applications must be submitted at the designated offices.
Authorities will conduct hearings on these requests between April 17 and April 20. All decisions will then be communicated to registration officers by April 21.
After incorporating all approved changes and corrections, the final electoral rolls will be officially published on April 30, 2026.
Officials emphasised that the structured process is designed to improve transparency and ensure that all eligible voters are properly registered.
