The former Miss World and Cannes veteran Aishwarya Rai Bachchan stole the show at the screening of Francis Ford Coppola’s “Megalopolis” on Thursday.

Representing L’Oreal Paris, Aishwarya walked the red carpet in a dramatic black and white gown with balloon sleeves and a touch of bling. Her outfit, designed by Falguni Shane Peacock, spoke volumes. She kept her look simple and elegant with loosely tied hair and golden hoops but was spotted with a cast on her hand while posing for pictures.

In Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s 22nd year at the Cannes Film Festival, she continues to deliver some of the most iconic red carpet looks. Last year, she captivated the audience in a silver gown adorned with a giant black bow and an even larger silver hood and train.

Aishwarya’s Cannes journey began in 2002. She made her red carpet debut wearing a Neeta Lulla saree paired with heavy gold jewelry for the premiere of “Devdas.” She was accompanied by her co-star Shah Rukh Khan and director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The following year, she was honored with a position on the Cannes jury, further cementing her status at the festival.

This year, joining her at Cannes are fellow actors Aditi Rao Hydari, Shobita Dhulipala, Jacqueline Fernandes, and Kiara Advani. Urvashi Rautela has also shared pictures from the French Riviera, while Deepti Sadhwani of “Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah” made her red carpet debut on Wednesday.
