Dubai: Aisamul Quershi’s doubles game partner Nenad Zimonjic has left Aisamul Qureshi in mid-season.
Quershi paired with Zimonjic two months ago, came to a tame end with a 4-6, 1-6 defeat against India’s Rohan Bopanna and Canada’s Daniel Nestor in the final of the Dubai Open.
Quershi talking to media said “I guess he is not comfortable playing on this side of the court. He has had most success playing over the deuce side and I do understand his reasons, he is 38 and maybe feels it’s too late to change.”
Quershi further added that the decision is too quick and if he would have known, he would have to make an adjustment.
