Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) today issued a show-cause notice to four cricketers over violation of central contract.
Twenty20 skipper Shahid Afridi, Fawad Alam, Muhammad Irfan and Wahab Riaz appeared in a TV advertisement without seeking permission from the cricket board.
The central contract makes it mandatory for players to obtain a NoC from the board before appearing in TV commercial.
In its notice, PCB has asked the players to explain why a disciplinary action should not be initiated against them.
