Adaila Jail security handed over to Pakistan Army

Due to security threats, 30 Pakistan Army Commandoes have been deployed at Adiala Jail on earlier today Consequently, security has been handed over to the Pakistan Army.

Police will perform joint duty with 30 commandos and 50 rangers personnel.

Adaila Jail’s Superintendent, Malik Mushtaq told media that the commandos are deployed due to terror threat. The commandos will also patrol around the jail and security is also being monitored with the help of closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras.

The Adiala Jail also has prisoners belonging to various banned terror outfits.
