Recently, Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan confirmed that he would be a producer on the upcoming film Champions, even though he was originally slated to appear.
Aamir Khan stated in an interview with an Indian news agency that he was to play the lead part in a film named “Champions,” but he dropped out because he wanted to spend time with his mother, wife, and children.
Khan added, “I anticipate spending the next year and a half as a producer rather than as an actor.”
During an event in Delhi, Aamir disclosed that he was meant to begin filming Champions following Laal Singh Chaddha but instead opted to take a break from the film industry.
“When I’m working on a film as an actor, everything else ceases to exist. I thus decided to take a break. I desire to be with my family. With my mother and my children. Khan stated, “I feel as though I have been working for 35 years, and I have been singularly focused on my films, which is not fair to my loved ones.”
However, he adds, “I will seek other actors to play the role I had hoped to play.”
Aamir Khan Production, 200 Not Out Productions, and Sony Pictures International Productions India will co-produce the film Champions.
