82 serving personnel of Afghan intelligence , judiciary issued Pakistani NICs

Standing Committee of the Senate on Interior has been told that 82 serving personnel of the Afghan intelligence and judiciary have acquired Pakistani CNICs.

Chairman of the committee, Senator Talha Mehmood told the members that according to a report by the intelligence agencies (IAs), Pakistani identity cards were issued to 82 Afghan nationals, who are serving in the Afghan intelligence and judiciary.

He told that these cards are being issued by some corrupt officials based in National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), while thousands of other Afghan citizens are also being issued Pakistani identity cards and passports.
