50 Cent recently questioned Jay-Z’s involvement in producing the Super Bowl halftime show amid sexual assault allegations against the rapper. Jay-Z’s company, Roc Nation, has collaborated with the NFL since 2020 to produce this iconic music event.
The allegations assert that Jay-Z, along with Sean “Diddy” Combs, assaulted a 13-year-old girl at a 2000 MTV Video Music Awards afterparty. Initially filed against Combs alone in October, the lawsuit was later amended to include Jay-Z, real name Shawn Carter, accusing both of drugging and assaulting the alleged victim.
50 Cent’s Reaction to Jay-Z Allegations
On Instagram, 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, posted a meme showing him laughing and driving away, with a caption that read, “Ok, I don’t know what’s going on, but are we gonna still have the Super Bowl halftime show? I’m just asking for a friend!”

Carter has strongly denied the allegations, labelling attorney Tony Buzbee, who represents the plaintiff, as a “deplorable human” and an “ambulance chaser.” He also took legal action against Buzbee, filing a countersuit for harassment and defamation. Buzbee, representing over 120 clients with claims against Combs, called Carter’s countersuit a bullying tactic and commended his client’s courage.

50 Cent’s comments have sparked further discussion about his long-standing feud with Jay-Z, which began early in their careers. Jackson has previously claimed that Jay-Z tried to prevent him from participating in the 2022 Super Bowl halftime show, which Eminem reportedly defused.
As these allegations continue to develop, questions remain about Jay-Z’s future role in the NFL’s most significant event.
