Police officials yesterday claimed to have arrested five activists of the banned terror outfit Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) from Federal B Area of the city of Karachi..
According to SP Gulberg Faisal Noor, Federal B Area and Sir Syed police jointly conducted a targeted operation, arresting five banned TTP’s activists.
“The accused were involved in several crimes including extortion and target killings,” Noor said.
Weapons were also recovered from the possession of the accused, he added.
