ICC World T20 begins on Sunday in Bangladesh. During the 22 days tournament, 35 matches will be played across Chittagong, Dhaka and Sylhet . The opening match will be played between hosts Bangladesh and Afghanistan. Hong Kong and Nepal will meet in Chittagong later in the day. The format for the men’s event has been changed following an increase in teams from 12 to 16.
The first round of the event will include eight sides that will be divided into two groups of four teams each, with the table-toppers progressing to the Super 10 stage.
