At least 43 militants surrendered in Dera Bugti district of Balochistan  to security forces.

A spokesman for Frontier Corps Balochistan said here 43 militants who belonged to banned militant organization, Baloch Republican Army (BRA), has surrendered in a ceremony in Dera Bugti.

“The militants who surrendered have vowed to remain loyal to Pakistan,” he said.

“The militants surrendered to security forces after head of self-exiled Baloch leader, Brahamdagh Bugti applied for asylum in India,” the FC spokesman said.

“Now, we have nothing to do with Brahamdagh Bugti,” they said. He further said FC personnel took stern action against those who snatched livestock from local people, damaged government properties and carried out subversive acts.

“There is no room for those who would be found involved in acts of terrorism,” he said. (PhotoNews / Agencies)
